Overall our stay was great. The house was nice, clean and the backyard was great for our dog. Check in & the communication was a bit of a pain point. I messaged the host 4 days before our stay about potentially checking in early as we were getting to town early. Host said we could check in 1 hour early for an extra charge. Totally fine, no big deal for us but we politely declined and said we’ll just show up at the normal 3pm time. Only to then have the host message me 3 hours before check in and say they were running behind and we wouldn’t be able to check in at 3pm. Then directly after that I got an automated message saying it was ready for check in, so we went to the house at 3. It wasn’t ready. Host was there and said they hadn’t gotten to cleaning yet and we can’t sit in the parking lot and wait. All this to say, I had to chuckle at the irony of it all. They wanted us to pay extra to check in an hour early and we ended up having to check in an hour late because they weren’t ready.
Great spot. Was small but used the space well—was a good fit for 2 nights
had a great stay!
